The Great Ocean Walk takes in some of the most spectacular coastline in the world - rugged cliffs, sheltered beaches, windswept heathlands and majestic forests.

As well as breathtaking vistas, soaring cliff tops and pristine bushland, one of the Great Ocean Walk's greatest attributes is its flexibility. Carefully designed so you can either complete the entire 91km from Apollo Bay to Glenample Homestead at the Twelve Apostles, or compile your own shorter itinerary, The Great Ocean Walk offers the walking experience of a lifetime. This is our suggestion for the complete walk.
Day 1 - Apollo Bay to Blanket Bay.
Day 2 - Blanket Bay to Cape Otway Lightstation.
Day 3 - Cape Otway Lightstation to Castle Cove.
Day 4 - Castle Cove to Milanesia Beach.
Day 5 - Milanesia Beach to The Gable.
Day 6 - The Gable to Glenample or the 12 Apostles.
If you are on a tighter time schedule there are some lovely short walks (eg Blanket Bay to Point Franklin), slightly longer walks (eg Cape Otway Lightstation to Aire River), or some harder (but spectacular) days around Milanesia, Wreck Beach and Cape Volney.
